Note: The Internet is constantly changing and adapting. Websites available today might be gone tomorrow and back again without warning. The web links listed here have been tested for their accuracy, but their status can change. In addition, the materials found on these websites are generally appropriate for secondary level students, however, some websites may be offensive to some due to their content. For example, a museum website that shows a Greek statue, which is commonly nude, might offend some. Please keep in mind that materials found on these websites are relevant to learning and are far safer than what might be found from indiscriminate "surfing" of the web. School districts typically filter iinappropriate websites, however, teachers should preview all websites prior to assigning them to students. The best defense against inappropriate websites will always be the classroom teacher's direct supervision.
