Ector County TSTA/NEA

  Membership Advocacy Team (MAT)
  • We have a special service in our local TSTA organization to help our members serve ECISD with greater peace of mind. The MAT team is a group of specially trained members having additional personal experience and a desire to help our membership to get through the occasional difficulties we face as educators. We’re not legal professionals, but many times we can help resolve low level problems. If this method does not provide the kinds of solutions our members need, we provide our membership specific help in the multiple levels of the grievance process.
  • At any time all members have access to one of the most pro-active and easily accessible legal help organizations available, the TSTA Help Desk. Here you can submit your request directly to the help desk. We would be glad to submit your issues for you and inform the legal help team of the steps already taken to provide remedy.
  • Please use the following form to submit your request. One of the TSTA Member Advocacy Specialists will contact you soon. Click here to access the form.
  • Legal services are only provided to TSTA members. Confidential or sensitive information should not be sent over an employer's email system. If your communication to the TSTA Help Center is of such a nature, please include a home email address on this form or contact us by phone at 1-877-ASK-TSTA (877-275-8782.)
  • If your request needs immediate attention, please call 1-877-ASK-TSTA Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m CT (Summer hours are 8-5 CT.)
